Entrepreners Under 18 – Alex Fraiser of Blogussion
There are many entrepreneurs under 18 on the world wide web and one of them is Alex Fraiser. He has a fantastic site called Blogussion. I strongly suggest that you go and have a look because it really is great and gives loads of fantastic tips on blogging.
Alex is a young blogger and designer from New Jersey. He started serious blogging when he opened up his first attempt at professional blogging back at the very beginning of 2009. Alex Fraiser founded Blogussion with a friend and has been blogging there ever since.
He looks although he enjoys writing, and blogging is obviously a great thing to do for people who like writing content that actually gets read by other people. He did start it with the hope of possibly earning a bit of money one day, but the thing that really sold him onto starting a blog (besides writing) is that he has total control over it. He can do whatever he wants to do with it, such as designing. There are a lot of things he would like to do with Blogussion.
But, the main thing he would like to achieve the most is to create a site where many bloggers can flock to discuss and learn about blogging. He communicates with as many people as he can through social networks like Twitter, email, Skype and any other. But he meets the most people through the comments section in his articles.
Alex’s blogging stars are Marko Saric from HowToMakeMyBlog, Brian Clark from Copyblogger and obviously, Darren Rowse from ProBlogger. Alex is on Twitter and is one good person to follow. His specialty besides writing is Designing – WordPress, Thesis, and other themes.
He’s all self-taught and has been designing since he was 13, and coding a year later. Alex also operates a blog called Asnio where he uses his expertise to tweak the ultra popular theme thesis. Blogussion is based on thesis. Alex sometimes alters other people’s blogs. He is currently at a junior high school.
As you may have seen on Blogussion the graphics are fantastic on each post and always attract your attention. Also each post has a great picture that shows exactly what the post is actually about. He writes very maturely for his age. He describes his blog, Blogussion as “stands out from the crowd” and he’s right it is a blog that stands out from the crowd.
On his Asnio blog I love on his about page what he says:
“Niches are being dominated by kids — the next generation of writers, journalists and entrepreneurs. Slowly but surely, these kids are making a name for themselves through their words on their blog. Some have already made the leap into professional blogging, and many others aren’t too far behind.”
I like this because it is the kind of thing that inspires me to do more – write more posts, do more with my blog etc.
One of my favourite posts on his blog is “Do you want to guest post? Listen up”. This post is great because it tells you everything you’d want to know about writing a guest posts and he also gives a list of five things about what to do with every guest post you write.
Overall I like Alex Fraiser because he has daily posts with amazing graphics and his website designs are phenomenal plus his site is aimed at all ages beginners to advanced. Also I like his posts because not only are they submitted daily but there is a variety of them. This is because he has lots of different writers which gives it a different style every time.
Let me know what you think

Oh yeah – the kids are definitely the future. I’m amazed by what some have accomplished already on the Internet.
I’m 25… so… am I still young enough to count as a kid?
